Tony Ryan has specialised for 20 years in photographing models for calendars, posters and advertising. His published works include the AFL Men For All Seasons calendar and the Pumped Up Down Under series of which Black and Blue have been involved with.
He is now running workshops for professional and amatuer photograhers. These workshops teach about many aspects of Tony's work including lighting, camera settings and most importantly connecting with people. Tony believes that a person's emotions and thoughts greatly affect their physical appearance. To this end he instructs on how to physically direct and sculpt models but also on how to help your subjects to relax and connect with the moment.
The workshops are run usually on weekends and are 3 hours in duration. Cost is $100 per person and each participant gets access to the model/s that are booked for the session. There is also one on one tuition for $70. If you are interested in attending or perhaps would like to model at one of these events please visit
